This quote by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (in the post title) has always been one of my favorites. It reminds me of the verse in the Bible about Faith. Hebrews 11:1 was one of the first verses I had my son memorize when he was pre-school age.
“Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for,
certain of what we do not see.” (NIV)
I use many motivational methods to reward their hard work, like these warm fuzzies in a jar. When they fill their own empty jar to the brim with warm fuzzies, they are permitted to choose a nice prize out of our “Treasure Chest”
It is easy to motivate them to do this wonderful thing. I hope these scriptures will stay with them their whole lives, like they have for my own family members!
