We celebrate our garden harvest by serving everyone
a tangled toss of color bursting
with earthly goodness.
Yellow scrambled eggs are laced with fragrant herbs
and plump, ripe vegetables tonight
on our Dinner table,
straight from our backyard urban “farmette.”

I love Summer, and the bounty of the season.

“I question not if thrushes sing,
If roses load the air;
Beyond my heart I need not reach
When all is summer there.”
