We call it “Baby In the “House.” 

We borrow friends’ little ones to love and cherish for the day.  This practice calms down my perpetual urge for another baby of our own in our family.  I mean, at some point, one requires a moderation in the urge to bear children, right?  I don’t think I will ever quench that desire!  Can I get a witness?

On Tuesdays we have a baby in the house once again.

And so, kind mothers of babes allow me to care for their little ones now and then to cure my blues for another child. 

It is healthy, really, for I am too old to carry another baby, and it is not really fair to the child if there is a much younger woman to be the mother!  But I still have the strong craving for a baby! 

This particular child is an angel.

He is pure joy, wrapped up in cuddles, giggles, and smiles.

I think I always will want to have little souls in my day to day life.  They bring the promise of goodness and joy.
