I feel your pain, Noah! The Effects of the Flood, or Project # 15

Who ordered all this Rain?
Our little town must have its limit in Flash Flood History this month.
So we had a small creek in the basement, no big deal, they say.
One Extra Sump Pump later, and STILL the creek flows across the concrete floor
My sisters.
I am Trying to see the positive.
I feel the JOY in my arms, which will be as HUGE and
as Popeye ‘s
after we finish burying the drainage pipes in the backyard.

Digging and trying to level the grade so the rainwater flows out into the street
But my Man Child has been an absolute answer to Prayer.
The boy has Energy!

I had no Idea that this project would be every bit as intense as a Marathon!

But in the end,
we will be glad we pressed on.
And later, I might hire the Man-Child out to a Landscaper!

Matthew 7:25 has never been more meaningful to me than today!

“The rain came down, the streams rose,

and the winds blew and beat against that house;
yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”
