One glance outdoors this morning, and nature’s glorious sense of balance with color serves as my guide to decorating. The wild thicket of foliage just beyond my window is a masterpiece, untamed, vibrant, and full of life. It reminds me that beauty doesn’t need to be perfect to be powerful.

I love to include blue in any scene. I suppose it grounds my soul. Blue reminds me of the sky, and of Heaven. Heaven reminds me of my Great Grandmother “May,” and of my baby daughter, Faith.
