Horticulturists say that letting the ground dry out thoroughly before watering deeply helps root growth. Light winds also are said to strengthen the trunks of young saplings.By forcing the roots to find their own water supply, they sink deep into the earth.
This horticultural wisdom can cross over to an application in daily living. Just like the harsh winds and water deprivation somehow make the trees stronger,deep roots of Faith in GOD can be developed in times of stress.
Storms may beat against the stems of our lives,
but despite the storms, our Faith continues to grow.
Perhaps it may bend and sway at times when pounded by life’s elements, but our Faith only grows deeper roots and a sturdier “trunk” as a result. Little troubles can send your Faith deep—-
so you grow able to survive the Big Troubles!
so you grow able to survive the Big Troubles!

One way we strengthen our Faith is
to read the Bible, and
to read the Bible, and
We also LOVE children’s books.
We find so much JOY in learning!”They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:8
